This is an option for all users with dedicated extensions. Using this app will effectively change your personal cell phone into a mobile version of your desk/extension. You are no longer bound to being in your classroom to receive and make calls from your extension.
Let’s get started!
Open your App Store/Google Play Store on your device and search for GoTo. The first search result should be GoTo with a Business designation.
Download and install the app. Open the app and sign in with your email address. You will be prompted for a password – Select Forgot Password. You will be issued a reset email. Enter your desired password on the webpage you are directed to and then once more for confirmation. Back in the app, be sure to allow permissions for it to access your device like your microphone/camera.
You will be asked if you want to add your Google Calendar to the app, follow the prompts or press skip if you do not wish to do so.
Once that is complete, you will be greeted with the Settings page. Make sure everything is as you wish it to be and then select the green back arrow on the upper left of the screen.
At the bottom of your screen you will see three options: Phone, Meetings and Contacts.
Select Phone>Calls for all of your recent calls. Voicemail for you guessed it VM and Fax for any faxes directed to you (this feature has yet to be rolled out).
Select Meetings to view any scheduled meetings, start a scheduled meeting, join a session or create a meeting.
You can also create your meeting through Google Calendar.
Contacts will reveal who you have added to your Favorite Contacts, Business for a directory of all users with an extension and any personal contacts you elected to bring over to GoTo from your device.
