MacBook:


Open System Preferences, then Printers & Scanners.

Click the + symbol then the globe or IP icon. 

Note: Do not use printers from the Default list.

Enter the IP address of the printer you'd like to install in the Address field.

If it's an HP printer change the protocol to AirPrint.

Wait for the Mac to finish AirPrint set up.

Name the Printer something that you will recognize.


For Konica BizHub printers, like the Collaboratory or the US Commons printers, please place a FreshDesk ticket for assistance from IT.



iOS/iPad OS


Tap the Share Menu button on the page you'd like to print.

Scroll down to Print.

Select the Printer you'd like to use (Do not select KonicaMinolta Business Office or Mailroom).

Tap Print.


Windows:


Device Name Installation

Click the Start button on the lower left of your task bar.

Type in Printers then select Printers & Scanners from the search results.

Click Add a Printer or Scanner.  Wait for the printer list to be created.

If the Device Name of the printer is not listed in Windows, proceed to the IP method.


IP Address Installation


Click the Start button on the lower left of your task bar.

Type in Printers then select Printers & Scanners from the search results.

Click Add a Printer or Scanner.  Wait for the printer list to be created.

Ignore the list and click on "The Printer that I want isn't listed".

Click the bubble for "Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or Hostname.

In the Hostname or IP Address field, enter the IP address labelled on the printer.

Ensure that the checkbox for "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use".

Click Next.

Windows will attempt to detect the printer.

(If it does not you will need to locate the printer driver.  Place a FreshDesk ticket for IT Assistance.)

Once Windows detects the printer you will be asked to name it something you can recognize.

You'll then be asked to opt to Share the Printer.  Do not share the printer.

Click Finish.
