US Commons:  172.16.8.205

HP US Science Center:  172.16.8.208


For printers labelled with an IP address that are not one of the above download this file from Apple then open and install the HP driver package.  Once you've done so:


       - Open System Preferences.

       - Click Printers and Scanners.

       - Click the + symbol.

       - Click the globe icon.

       - Enter the IP Address.

       - Protocol:  HP JetDirect - Socket.

       - Name the printer something you will recognize.

       - Use:click the down arrow and select Select Software.

       - In the new window, type the model number in the search field or manually select it from the list.

       - Click Add and then OK.


For the above printers marked as HP, connect to them using AirPrint:


        

       - Open System Preferences.

       - Click Printers and Scanners.

       - Click the + symbol.

       - Click the globe icon.

       - Enter the IP Address.

       - Protocol:  AirPrint.

       - Name: name it appropriately (it will default to the IP address).

       - Use: It will default to AirPrint as it will see it as being capable on the network.

       - Click Add, Done.

        



For the STEAM Center (1st Floor), perform the following:


  • Open Google Drive, then Shared with Me. 

  • Open the shared Printers folder.

  • Download and then open the .pkg file for the Media Library Printer.

  • You will receive an error message stating that Mac cannot open the file.

  • Open System Preferences, then select the General tab.  Click the Padlock on the lower left and provide your keychain credentials. Now, click Open Anyway, then Open again and proceed.

  • Follow the prompts and provide your MacBook keychain credentials.

  • Complete the installation.

  • Open System Preferences.

  • Click Printers and Scanners.

  • Click the + symbol.

  • Click the globe icon.

  • Enter the IP: 172.16.8.203

  • Protocol - AirPrint

  • Name - Replace 172.16.8.203 with how it as listed above or something that you will immediately recognize.

  • Use - KONICA MINOLTA bizhub C250i - keep this as is.

  • Click Add.


For the US Commons printer, perform the following:

  • Open System Preferences.

  • Click Printers and Scanners.

  • Click the + symbol.

  • Click the globe icon.

  • Enter the IP:  172.16.8.205

  • Protocol - AirPrint

  • Name - Name it as listed above or something that you will immediately recognize.

  • Use - KONICA MINOLTA biz hub C558 - leave as is.

  • Click Add and Ok.   


    For the Teacher Workroom B&W printer, perform the following:

    • Open Google Drive, then Shared with Me.

    • Open the shared Printing folder.

    • Open the Teacher Workroom folder then download and install the .pkg file.

    • You will receive an error message stating that Mac cannot open the file.

    • Open System Preferences, then select the General tab.  Click the Padlock on the lower left and provide your keychain credentials. Now, click Open Anyway, then Open again and proceed.

    • Follow the prompts and provide your MacBook keychain credentials.

    • Complete the installation.

    • Open System Preferences.

    • Click Printers and Scanners.

    • Click the + symbol.

    • Click the globe icon.

    • Enter the IP:  172.16.8.204

    • Protocol - HP JetDirect - Socket.

    • Name - Name it as listed above or something that you will immediately recognize.

    • Use - It should come up automatically as Taskalfa 7003i.

    • Click Add and Ok.
