Have you ever grown tired of typing out your email address or phone number? Within Apple apps, such as Apple Mail, iMessage, etc. you can set your Keyboard app to do so with shortcuts.
Open System Preferences on the Dock.
Click Keyboard.
Click the Text Tab.
Click the + symbol.
For email address - In the Replace field, type in @ @ (no space) then your email address in the With field.
For Phone # - the same except type in # # (no space) then your phone number (extension or cell if you choose) in the With field.
You can do this for a host of different basic functions to save time; it may not seem like much but in the long-haul it adds up!
